Yes, then his son lost grip and we in Scotland took it all back, but it was happily resolved thanks to Elizabeth I. Or so we think. There's still enough of a tiny difference that Scots are considered a separate ethnic group and the whole constitutional shebang has to revolve around Scotland. Good article though.
